NDT AND CORROSION PROTECTION LABORATORIES AND ACCREDITATION, ACCORDING TO BDS EN ISO/IEC 17020
Through its authorized and up-to-date equipped laboratories, “Gasstroymontaj” JSC guarantees reliability, good operating efficiency and optimal level of safety throughout the entire process of construction of steel pipelines and related facilities as well as during their operation.
Non-destructive testing laboratory (NDT Lab)
- The laboratory offers non-destructive testing of welded joints, steel and details applying the following methods:
- radiographic /RT/
- ultrasonic /UT/
- ultrasonic thickness gauge
- magnetic particle test /MT/
- capillary /PT/
- visual /VT/.
We have equipment for non-destructive testing, as follows:
- X-ray crawler model IPSI/300/3, “IPSI”, Belgium
- Gamma Defectoscopes “Gammamat M18” – Germany
- Gamma Defectoscopes “Gammamat M6” – Germany
- Gamma Defectoscopes “Gammamat R30” – Germany
- Gamma Defectoscopes “Gammarid 25M” – Russia
- Ultrasonic Defectoscope USK-7S – “Krautkramer”, Germany
- Ultrasonic Defectoscope /calipers/ DM-3 – “Krautkramer”, Germany
- Magnetic Defectoscope type TWM 220 – “TIEDE”, Germany.
The NDT Laboratory, type “C”, is accredited, according to BDS EN ISO/IEC17020:2005, with Order No.1236/03.12.2009 and has the respective certificate, issued by the Bulgarian Accreditation Authority, reg.№302 ОКС dated 03.12.2009.
Laboratory for control of electrochemical and electric anti-corrosion protection and electric measurements
The Lab is authorized to control the devices for anti-corrosion and electric anti-corrosion protection of underground facilities as well as to do electric measurements and control the healthy and safety conditions.
The lab offers the following:
- Quality control of all kinds of insulation coatings.
- Control and adjustment of all kinds of electrochemical protection systems.
- Electric measurements
- Measurement of transition of earth resistance and of protective and lightning protective earth installations;
- Measurement of the impedance of “Phase-Protective conductor” circuit;
- Measurement of the specific earth resistance;
- Control of electrical installation and equipment up to and over 1000V;
- Measurement of the cable insulation resistance
The Laboratory for control of electrochemical and electric anti-corrosion protection and electric measurements, type “C”, is accredited, according to BDS EN ISO/IEC17020 and has the respective certificate.
